I always thought of getting me a tattoo. I used to tell myself I'll get one when I'm older, when I'm sure my mom won't kill me after and when I have the guts to do so.
Well apparently, the day I'm older and gutsy has come. A lot of people are amazed with Von's and my names whenever we introduce ourselves to people, and we share their fascination. Initially we thought of getting Von/Vin ambigrams, looks simple, but it isn't. The idea has been around since mid last year but timing got the best of us.
We've finally decided to visit 55 Tinta (sabe ng chismis, tattoo shop ng kamikaze - and Franco, from the band Franco, tattoos there too) last weekend, but the artists who can customize an ambigram for us is only there on Mondays and Tuesdays. I was disappointed, I've calmed and prepped myself for the pain the whole day. Monday came, Von and I were browsing Flipscript at the same time from different stations when I thought of using our second name - Vanessa/Xavier. He was apparently thinking and doing the exact same thing and whoallaaa we got our ambigram! |

True as they say, it was painful but the experience was all worth it. I know I'll be getting a second tattoo but I'll stop at two.
Tats are right on time for valentines - V day! Crazy, Wicked, eh? Twisted, yeah. But, tis' one best way to mark the start of forever. Cheesy? Definitely!
