mental bother
haaaay... this week has been very confusing for me. i seriously think that there's something wrong with how my mind works. seriously! seriously wrong!
my mind has been thinking a lot of twisted thoughts lately that even i get amazed. i've always had an average IQ but since i've been so amazed w/ my thoughts lately i decided to test myself.
Accdg to IQtest.com, my general IQ score is 110.
I would have to buy something from them to get my score interpreted. so i googled....
Borderline superior intelligence.
far from genius.. superiority is great but dangerously scary.
superior intelligence plus my personality. very dangerous combination. seriously seriously wrong.

Food Post: Army Navy
Weekend! Everybody love weekends! For me one of the best things about weekends is my diet break. Von and I went back to Army Navy today and all I can say is... YUM!!! Grabe galet galet muna kme kumain.
I'm not really a fan of burgers coz I'm more of a rice person (which explains the big tummy) but Army Navy's burger was one of the best I've ever tasted.
For 145Php, you get their classic, single beef patty, quarter pound burger. Add another 30Php and you get an additional bacon and cheese toppings!
We also ordered, the starving sailor steak sandwich (Thinly sliced Rib Eye Steak topped with Jalapeño-cheese spread, green bell peppers and caramelized onions in an 8-inch Sourdough bread) for 235Php.
Syempre the meal wouldn't be complete w/o extras! Freedom Fries and Onion Rings both at 60Php and their own brew tea they call Libertea for 55Php.
Next time (hopefully, next weekend!) we'll go back and try their chicken and quesadilla! I'll bring a better camera for more enticing pictures!

inbtw: Most random survey ever
I finally had a little time off. Time off from work, wedding preps and socials. I'm making the most of my time by listening to Guns N' Roses Greatest Hits and taking this random survey (talk about randomness and nothing to do!). Here goes...

**Draws an imaginary heart on my desk** Right!
2) Can you dive without plugging your nose?
I can't dive. If I try to, I'd probably land flat on my tummy.

If the blade I use for shading my eyebrows is considered a razor then I'd say, PINK!

Hah! I got this! A+. I grow up with a sick mom so I had to know my blood type.

Von of course. He can bear my insanities. 24 hours would be too short for us!
6) What is a rumor someone has spread about you?
Hmmm... I've had a lot of these but they didn't matter to me. Since they didn't matter, I've forgotten most of them. I'll try to remember and get back to you.

Should I have feelings for carrots?!?! Lol!

Hah! I've just been! A week ago, the lights went out in St.Luke's Hospital, I was in the elevator when it happened. I stayed calm and waited for the generator to kick in while watching the old lady panic. Haha!

True! You get what you give. You reap what you sow. If you think you're not getting what you deserve then maybe you aren't giving enough. :D

Like? Nooo. It's better to shut up and look stupid than to open your mouth and remove all doubts. Shortly put, I usually know what I say.

Yes! Who doesn't? But I can't sleep for more than 9 hours. When I get my 9 hours sleep I'm all set and ready for the day.

Indiana? Arizona? I'm guessing that it would be between the two.

Yes! Thats in my playlist of videoke songs!

Lots and lots and lots of clothes, shoes, bags, the works!

Fortunately, no! I'm not hairy in any part of my body! Thank God!

What difference would it make? You get wet both ways. I'd like displaying in both ocean and lake.

Long, brown, soft, super straight.
24) Do you have Entomophobia?
*Googling* Entomophobia (also known as insectophobia) is a common fear of or aversion to insects and similar arthropods, and even other terrestrial invertebrate animals, such as worms. If frogs count, then yes!

Unfortunately, yes. I've been wanting to be when I was a teen and now that I am, I've been wanting to be a teen again!

Around. Here, there and everywhere.

I'd like to think that I don't but I recently had a tan because of last weekend's mountain adventure.

Not an addict but I love watching cooking shows especially Rachel Ray's.

Nope. I'm the only person I know who isn't fond of sweets. You can give me all the salty food and no sweets for a day and you won't hear me complain one bit.

journey to lose 8kg!
80 days before the wedding. 8 kg target.
the tagline sounds more dramatic than achievable if you ask me. but I have a strong feeling it is achievable.
I have always been a size small but within the span of 4 yrs I've already transitioned to medium. I know its a part of growing up and medium isn't really large and it isn't that bad yet but I just really want to lose unwanted belly bump and facial fats for the day that I'll remember for the rest of my life.
Since 2010, I've weighed 53kg. Starting tomorrow, exactly 80 days before the big day, I'll start a new diet to target 45kg.

inked & tinted

I always thought of getting me a tattoo. I used to tell myself I'll get one when I'm older, when I'm sure my mom won't kill me after and when I have the guts to do so.
Well apparently, the day I'm older and gutsy has come. A lot of people are amazed with Von's and my names whenever we introduce ourselves to people, and we share their fascination. Initially we thought of getting Von/Vin ambigrams, looks simple, but it isn't. The idea has been around since mid last year but timing got the best of us.
We've finally decided to visit 55 Tinta (sabe ng chismis, tattoo shop ng kamikaze - and Franco, from the band Franco, tattoos there too) last weekend, but the artists who can customize an ambigram for us is only there on Mondays and Tuesdays. I was disappointed, I've calmed and prepped myself for the pain the whole day. Monday came, Von and I were browsing Flipscript at the same time from different stations when I thought of using our second name - Vanessa/Xavier. He was apparently thinking and doing the exact same thing and whoallaaa we got our ambigram!
True as they say, it was painful but the experience was all worth it. I know I'll be getting a second tattoo but I'll stop at two.
Tats are right on time for valentines - V day! Crazy, Wicked, eh? Twisted, yeah. But, tis' one best way to mark the start of forever. Cheesy? Definitely!

Matthew 19:5-6
Woke up today and as a habit I read my daily bread and a couple chapters from the Bible.
One verse really stood out today - Matthew 19:5-6
"For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh, so they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

Marriage, really is no joke. God says so himself, once in, then there's no turning back. I'm lucky, I found the perfect person to share marriage with. Someone that I know, I never want to be separated with.
